We are all trying to save a dollar or two
in these harsh economic times. A couple of drinks bought from a store or
vending machine daily may not seem to add up to much, but think about it.
Hydration is extremely important. Dehydration is a very serious problem that
can lead to migraines, muscle cramps, nausea and a lot worse.
Bottled water is, what, a dollar a bottle
from a vending machine? But drinking bottled water is not environmentally
friendly because of the millions of wasted bottles. And did you know that the
producers of bottled spring water are not covered by the same laws that govern
the quality of your own home tap water? Indeed, some of these bottled water is
just that, filtered tap water! So why are you paying a dollar for it? Let's say
too, that a bottle or can of tea costs $1.50 in a vending machine or
convenience store. You drink two a day, that's $3 a day, not much you say... but
that's nearly a thousand dollars a year (and nearly 800 empty cans or bottles a
year that have to be dealt with).
